A fleeting glance at an 'earth wolf' marking its territory. The tail is erect as it squirts from its anal glands. Aardwolfs are normally nocturnal but may be diurnal during the coldest part of winter. They are insectivorous and can eat 250,000 termites in a nights feeding. They are a member of the hyena family.
