Living With Elephants

Doug and Sandi Groves have created the Living With Elephants Foundation - a unique commitment to three elephants orphaned by culling operations.

Doug and Sandi adopted Jabu (foreground), Thembi and Morula becoming the elephant's full time carers.

They operate near Stanley's Camp in the Delta and provide a opportunity to interact with these three semi-habituated elephants.

One of Africa most deadly snakes. The name black refers to the colour inside its mouth. Not a sight to aspire to.

This snake was climbing into a tree just outside our camp as we returned from a night drive.

Oxpeckers Hard at Work

Red-billed oxpeckers hard at work cleaning up parasites on a hippopotamus.
